In Japanese, the Chinese character “do”, which means “road”, is often used in relation to traditional arts. In this context, it means “the way of” - chado is the “the way of tea ceremony”, bushido is “the way of the samurai”.
On a personal note, I feel as if I have been walking slowly along this “road” of traditional Japanese culture since I was born. One day, I felt something draw me deep into this, almost to get lost within it. I believe that my “road” is to connect traditional Japanese arts with audiences near and far.
Then, I have realised that there are many wonderful artists around me with same resolution, which is why I dedicated myself to opening the door for this “road” for these artists for the future.
I would greatly appreciate your support, and invite you to explore the world of traditional Japanese arts with us.
